What’s new in Shopify

Tax accuracy has improved for orders shipping to customers in the United States. Tax is now calculated using the fulfillment location that your order routing settings select for each order. For local pickup orders, tax is calculated from the pickup location. Now, if you fulfill orders from multiple locations, tax reflects where each order actually ships from, and your order records show the ship-from location used in the calculation. This is beneficial because tax rates can depend on where an order ships from, and your records are more accurate for reporting and filing.
