What’s New at Shopify?

Update: On June 12, 2025, we've modified postcode requirements for shipments to Malta at checkout.

Prior to this change, postcodes were optional. We have moved the postcode field to required to align with the requirements of MaltaPost.

This change is live on checkout and Shop Pay. Postcodes are required on both domestic and international orders regardless of shipping method selected.
