Ship and pickup in one order available for Plus and Enterprise plans

Merchants on Plus and Enterprise plans can now offer customers the flexibility to select shipping and store pickup for different items within a single checkout. Previously, customers had to create separate orders for each delivery method.

  • Customers can see all available delivery options for each item based on the shop’s configured locations, inventory, and delivery methods.
  • Customers can choose to ship or pick up all of their items, or choose some items for pickup and others for shipping to their address.
  • When an order is created, separate fulfillments will link to the order in the Shopify admin to show which items are for pickup or shipping.

Enable the feature through Feature test drives. The feature auto-releases to all eligible checkouts on April 2027.

If your store uses any third-party or custom apps, workflows, or integrations that interact with delivery, fulfillment, or order logic, you'll need to thoroughly test them with this feature. Reach out to your app developers to confirm they've updated their apps to support split orders to ensure your checkout experience stays smooth and fulfillment routing works as expected.
