What’s new in Shopify

The Shopify Payments activity report gives you a clearer way to understand how money moved through your Shopify Payments balance over a selected date range.

You can open it from Finance > Documents > Shopify Payments activity report or from the Payouts page, then generate a report that brings together your starting balance, gross activity, fees, payouts, and ending balance in one place.

Use the report when you're closing a month, checking why your Shopify Payments balance changed, or reviewing activity before payouts reach your bank account. The report is organized around balance activity and transaction dates, so it gives a different view than payout-by-payout exports from the Payouts page. You can also export the report as a PDF for your records or finance workflows.

The activity report helps you review balance movement across a period, while the Payouts page remains the place to review individual payout deposits.
