What’s new in Shopify

The mobile Online Store Editor has been rebuilt to keep your store canvas visible while you make changes. This update also includes touch controls and Sidekick integration.

What's new:
* The canvas stays visible while you edit. Settings open in a compact sheet that does not cover your store
* Tap any section or block directly on the canvas to open its settings and see changes as you make them
* Controls and inputs are redesigned for finger use: larger targets, clearer states, consistent across iOS and Android
* Sidekick is now in the editor. Ask a question or request a store edit from anywhere in the editor
* A new layer map shows your store's full structure. Find any section, block, theme setting, or app embed without scrolling the canvas
* Select a specific section or block and a contextual Sidekick input appears, already aware of what you are looking at
