What’s new in Shopify

Shop Pay checkout now supports more of the payment methods you offer through Shopify Payments, so buyers are more likely to complete the order in Shop Pay instead of switching flows.

* What it is: Greater parity between Shop Pay and guest checkout for which Shopify Payments methods appear, including local and regional options (such as Bancontact, BLIK, EPS, MobilePay, Multibanco, Przelewy24, Swish, TWINT, and USDC)—only where you already have them enabled through Shopify Payments and where rollout includes that market.
* Who it affects: Merchants using Shopify Payments with Shop Pay enabled; buyer experience varies by market and method.
* Action required: For most merchants, none—keep your existing payments and Shop Pay settings. Turn on individual methods in Settings → Payments if you want them available at checkout.
* Rollout: Phased; not every method is available in every country on day one.
