What’s new in Shopify

We've added keyboard navigation to Shopify POS so cart-building no longer requires switching between keyboard and touch. Retail staff on iPad and Android tablets with a hardware keyboard can now:
- Open search with CMD+K and see all available shortcuts by holding CMD
- Navigate Products, Orders, and Customers lists with arrow keys
- Select a cart item or list result with Enter, or jump to one of the first nine with CMD+1–CMD+9
- Start checkout with CMD+Enter and exit flows with Escape

This removes friction during the most type-heavy moments like product search, customer lookup, and checkout and establishes a consistent keyboard interaction model that Shopify and partner teams can extend across POS.
