What’s new in Shopify

Shopify POS v11.15 introduces a persistent cart button on phones that keeps key details about the active cart visible as staff move through POS.

The cart button shows recently added items, item count, and running total, so staff can confirm what’s in the cart without leaving the screen they’re working from. It also provides confirmation when changes such as discounts, customers, staff, custom sales, or fees are added.

Staff can tap the cart button to open the full cart from Home, Products, Orders, or Search. When they close it, they return to where they left off, making it easier to move between selling tasks without losing context.

What’s new
* Keep the cart in view: Recently added items, item count, and total remain visible as staff move through mobile POS.
* Open the cart in one tap: Tap the persistent cart button from Home, Products, Orders, or Search to access the full cart.
* See cart updates as they happen: Staff get confirmation when items and other changes are added to the cart.
* Updated mobile navigation: The persistent cart button replaces the Cart tab in the bottom navigation and the previous “Go to cart” bar.
