What’s new in Shopify

Building workflows often means recreating steps you've already set up somewhere else. Now you can copy an existing step and paste it, instead of rebuilding it from scratch.

Select an action or condition step and use Cmd/Ctrl+C to copy it, then Cmd/Ctrl+V to paste. Flow keeps the copied step's configuration field values and, for conditions, its logic—so a pasted step arrives ready to use with only minor edits. You can paste within the same workflow or into a different one.

This makes it faster to reuse steps you've carefully configured, whether you're expanding a single workflow or standardizing steps across several.

A few things to note for this first release:

- You can copy and paste one action or condition step at a time (triggers and multi-select

copy/paste aren't supported yet).

- Steps that use a custom configuration page, such as Send Marketing Email, can't be copied.
