Customer accounts get a design uplift

Customer account pages get a design uplift that makes it easier for your customers to navigate their account, track orders, and take actions. The refreshed pages now use a streamlined single-column layout, feature more intuitive and accessible navigation, and include mobile-first optimizations.

Customer account design improvements

What’s new for your buyer experience

  • Account menus with up to 4 navigation links are now displayed inline on mobile, at the top of the page instead of collapsing behind a hamburger icon, so navigation is always within reach on every screen size.
  • Order details are easier to scan on mobile. The order summary is displayed inline on the page instead of collapsed, product images link straight to the product page, and any app features you've added to the order summary show up without extra taps.
  • More order actions are surfaced on the order list and order status pages for improved access. Native and extension-based order actions appear right at the top of each order summary instead of being tucked away inside a menu, so your customers can easily find and take their desired action.
  • Customers with no orders can see product recommendations you curate, instead of an empty state, so they will discover more of what you sell.
  • The sign-in page now allows for more customization controls for logo, colors, section styles, and a unique brand image.

You can customize your refreshed account pages for a unique branded look and add more features with apps using the checkout and account editor.
