What’s new in Shopify

You can now create, suspend, and reactivate staff accounts in bulk by uploading a CSV file in Shopify admin.

This update helps reduce manual setup for larger teams by letting you bulk create admin or POS staff accounts with assigned PINs and suspend or reactivate existing users in one upload.

It’s especially useful for seasonal hiring, store expansion, and fast offboarding, when teams need to make staff changes quickly and accurately.

To use this feature, go to Settings > Users > Import in Shopify Admin. Download the sample CSV template there to get started.
